Well yesterday we headed back up to Dome Plateau north of Moab to see if we could manage the whole trail this time lol Last time we were up there we got lost and only managed to do a little less than half the trail. This time we made it and it even turned out to be sunny which was cool since the original forecast called for showers. We never seem to get the predicted rain around here which is nice. I already posted a TR with pics from the first half of the trail so I wont bother putting those up again. Here are some from the rest...

A small arch we missed last time in the beginning

A steep section descending into Yellow Jacket Canyon

A far view from one of the higher points on the trail out towards the Book Cliffs and over towards the back part of Arches NP

An awesome view down on the Colorado River valley, Castle Valley, Fisher Towers and out towards the La Sal Mountains. I tried making this into a pano but it didn’t work....

After eating lunch with that view we headed out again to go check out the wind caves. Here are a few pics from the outside

And from the inside... this would be a good place to go during the summer heat

A rock formation just past the caves... I hereby name it the 3 beer bottles

After that we headed to some old mining cabins that have been abandoned for a very long time

Finally we headed down into a very muddy wash called Owl Draw and back out to route 128

Hey look I got 33s now

Some hills with nice lighting

Another fine day of Utah wheelin. It was great to get back to this run and do the whole thing without getting lost

Again, very beautiful country. Still trying to talk my wife into going this next summer. Maybe even bring a few friends with me. It would be cool to do a run like this with a bunch of cherokee guys from this forum. Do some camping and tell some stories.

Thanks for the pics!

That would be really awesome! Especially if we managed to get a little group going of people on here. There is nothing better than camping out having a campfire and enjoying some nice cold after a day of wheelin!
