Default Blessing of the Jeeps 2010

So this past weekend my wife, myself, and a few from our club went to the Blessing of the Jeeps up in Mesick, MI put on by the Cadillac Jeepers. This event is the reason for my 4 days of working on my new(er) XJ, Kermit. Got everything finnelly done on 4:30pm Friday before the event... But that's another story (Check my build tread for details...)

We rolled up to Cadillac with a YJ friend from Battle creek on Friday. Pretty uneventful (unless you count the farm smells) as we took back roads up there. By an hour out from Cadillac, we had managed to pick up about dozen other Jeeps all heading to the Blessing. It was dark and raining, so now photos .

Got to the Blessing about 10am Saturday morning... The following are some photos from all the Jeeps. I tried to get as many XJ's, ZJ's and WJ's as I could.

This one is the Cadillac Jeepers Presidents XJ

These are some of the other cool rigs that were there

After the Blessing I did hit the Intermediate obstacle course, but I am waiting on my friends photos of that. But, I do have some videos.

On the concrete stairs...

Woops...

More photos once I get them from my buddies.

The course was much harder this year, and I was at the low end of what was on the intermediate section. Lots of fun stuff to challenge us, got stuck once 3 wheeling it... Locker is not on the must list...

After that we headed out to hit the trails in National Forest.

Found some mud...

We spent close to 5 hours in the forest just wheeling around. It was great and beautiful out there. We then headed back to the hotel to order dinner... and this is what we found in the parking lot of the hotel.

Great time over all! More to come as my friends get there photos uploaded.

If you were there, post up your photos!

Awesome Pics! I hope to get there next year. I would of gone this year but had things that had to be done that day. You managed to get a pic of my buddies jeeps in there (the pic above the presidents jeep. one owns the Blue XJ and another owns the Black XJ) I would of been parked with them if I was able to make it.

Here are couple I took with my Phone.

Muddy Jesus Eating ice Cream at the gas station.

The girl that drove this XJ was a badass! She can drive!

This guy Could drive this jeep and make it do things i thought looked impossible. I followed him through the whole trail. The girlfriend and had to pick eachothers jaws up a couple times.

IH Scout

We watched this guy break a shacle mount and bend both front shocks that were new that morning.

I have a ton more pictures and videos on the camera i just need to get them onto the computer!
