white is 3.5" RE with 2" spacers up front and 2" shackles in the rear.
it's all getting replaced....crappy setup. needs to actually be parts than can handle 6.5" of lift, not a bastardized halfassed combo. but hey, my bro paid $2000 for the xj with everything you see on it.
pics in my next post. that axle of mine is really grinning

hehehe.
I went fast, there were bumps, divots, etc. and all sorts of other stuff. I believe it had been slowly bending all day as steering got worse through the day.
got some trail rash on the pass. side cab corner/rocker too but nothing big. other than that I just lost all of my shock bushings on the way down (threw in cheapo RC's so I didn't have to get bumpstops done for the edelbrocks)
all-in-all I think everyone had a fun time. I sure did....not even mad either. drove over 200 miles home like that without so much as a hiccup. :j:

I have several spare axles. the damage will cost me zero dollars to repair. well, save that I should buy a ball joint tool for next time.
I'm trussing the new one, raising all mounts and such around 2" for extra ground clearance and more lift. probably going to 4.88's soon afterward with 35's but for now the 4.10's can stay with the 35's going on until I can afford 4.88's.
no need to upgrade the front axle to a 44....this thing shouldn't be getting wheeled all that hard in the future as I have an xj to beat on.

my carnage lets see
friday me and my buddy get there before anyone else so we went out by ourselves in my 87xj
and well 89 showed up and so did a monster cj
well back to the carnage
a atv rides up to us and ask if we had a winch to winch his dads wrangler out we said yes
we were on our way to the resuce when i saw what seemed to be a puddle that turned into a biga$$ hole that ungulfed my front in water over the hood so i put her in reverse and almost got out. i then went got my dodge to winch it out and the jeep sat there by it self over night because it would not start.
pat and steve gave us a ride to the jeep and me and my buddy worked on it found out there was almost 2 gallons of water in it so we drained the oil took it back to camp worked all day saturday by changing the oil twice and putting a new starter in it and after a jump it started.
and on sunday we were ready to ride so we went to the quarry with pat and steve and jake and climbed some rocks and of course my lower radiator hose fell off so we put it back on and wheeled a little more and tried to climb these rocks that were to hard for my jeep to climb and got stuck and it overheated so i shut it off and got down to the bottom and got her jumped and well guess what turned out my oil pump was not working so it was knocking like a tractor so i hurried back to the trailer and loaded herup and she still sits on the trailer till i get the momenom to rebuild the motor.
