How do i get mine off over the steering wheel? The flat peices that go over and under the gauges wont let me pull it over the steering wheel.

Just have to be careful/patient. It is a tight fit and requires some flexing of the bezel. I've had mine in/out 6 or 8 times and it has never broken

You do know those kits are just appliques (i.e. stickers) and do not include the plastic trim pieces themselves. So depending on how yours is broken, you may or may not be able to cover it up with these stickers.

At the junkyard on the other hand you may have some luck. If you can find one in good shape it will run from around $20 (from a pick n' pull type yard) to $40 or $50 if they pull it for you. Most of the slef-service yards will have a price list so you can find out before you spend time pulling the part. Most other JYs price things on an item by item basis, so you could get lucky and find it cheap - it just depends

All of this is based on my personal experience of about 25 JYs in roughly a 450 mile radius between Fort Worth and Austin Texas. So it could be different where you are. Anyway, hope that helps.

BTW - on a popular auction site these are going for $65-$95 shipped

Did you find the wood grain bezel you were looking for?
