Default thermistor XJ's 94-96

Ac thermostat controller / evaporator core probe / thermistor compatible with years 94-96 jeep pn 55035503. If you happen to have one laying around I will take it.

Looks to me like the dash has to come out...? If so, Im not ready to pull it just yet.

Yeah dash has to be pulled. If you just so happen to come across one, don't forget to think about me. I see you have a reputation for parts. I also saw a couple threads where to helped with writeups, can't remember which ones.

The dealership told me that the thermistor was all I needed to get air conditioned. So that means I have to recheck all of their work anyway. I can't say dealership without cringing anymore.

Were you ever able to locate one of these? I cannot find one anywhere. It took me a long time before I could even locate an evaporator that has the port for the thermistor in it.

Better yet, does anybody have thoughts about repairing the thermistor? The copper probe broke in half but the wires on the inside are intact. I was hoping to jb weld them back together. Any ideas?
