Default Set of 4 black off road wheels

Looking at buying a set of black Cragars or D-Windows for my ZJ. Going to be putting 28x9.25xr15 (225/70R15) wheels on them. I'm not familiar with cacluating backspacing, but it's a stock ZJ and it may not be a problem since they're pretty thin, right?

Stock wheels are 5 x 4.5 15x7 with 5.25" backspacing. New ones are $50 on summit.

Yeah I know they're cheap new online but I figured if I could save a few dollars, why not. However I don't mind buying them new if needed. Should I replicate the 5.25'' backspacing? I was reading how to find it and it appears I need the wheel itself.. lol And my ZJ has a 16'' wheel. It's the Limited 5.9. Does that matter?

Cheers

It's still the same bolt pattern and all. I don't think it has any bigger brakes with the 5.9, but I don't know.

I would run 15's since they are cheaper and 16's are a really expensive rim size.

Yeah, I agree with running 15s over 16s. I'll try and ask some ZJ guys if they ran into any issues with their calipers, although I'm upgrading them anyway.

So a 15x8 wheel with 5'' BS then? Does the offset matter? I don't think I'll run into an issue with rubbing, but I want to make sure I don't since I'm not getting spacers.

Nope. 15x8 with 4" BS is the minimum I've seen, they might have stock but 4" will be fine.

A 14 in. wheel will fit on a ZJ & not interfere with the calipers/rotors. I had a pic where I test fit a 14 on my ZJ rear disc'ed XJ.

JEG's has them for $50'ish with free shipping.
