Should be able to find one at Chuck and Eddie's in the Plantsville section of Southington.
In the the pick and pull section.
Figure you being in Oxford it is not to bad a trip.
They have a fair amount of XJ's there and betting you could find what you need.
I kinda remember them having a couple where the fender flares were black.
Not painted to match. Black like the bumper caps that you see on '97 and maybe '98's sometimes.
They do charge you $2 to get in and charge you an "Environmental Fee" if you buy something.
But my experience has been that there pricing is not to bad so.....
Also Waterbury Auto Salvage which would be closer to you.
But last time I was there all they had was one XJ and I think it was silver.
Whether the fender flare you need is on the Jeep is anybody's guess though.

Chuck and Eddie's has 2 sections.
The pick and pull and the not.
So just make sure you go to the right one.

Yeah...
I'm not sure the entire history... But as I recall, there was a falling out among the owners/inherited owners.... and now things are completely separate businesses.
even though you still walk through the same door to get in.....
I don't think they have any allegiance to NAPA...
I could be wrong .. you know how rumors go.
last time I was there, they were very cool.
sheet, I've been going in there since I was a pup... still have a calendar hanging in the garage from back when....
this was pretty racey stuff.... long before the interwebs...
