Default Removing fender + flare

Hey guys
I am trying to remove my drivers side fender on my 2001 XJ so that I can bang out some of the dents in it and so that i can re-attach the flare to it as it is missing. (i bought the Jeep already scuffed in the front left - a few dents in the fender and the missing flare)

Does anyone have a good write up as to how to remove and re-attach the fender?

Thank you all in advance !!!

PS - if anyone has a drivers side front flare in red (sienna pearl - color code PU7) PLEASE LET ME KNOW

Well on mine after the first couple bolts broke off from rust I simply ripped all the fenders off, since I was trimming the fenders anyway. I am not sure they will be that bad on your 01, I would hope not. Just be careful when removing the bolts, if they start to bind up, get out the pb blaster.
It might not be a bad idea to get some hurculiner or rust inhibitor for under the flares since that seems to be a common place to rust.

Call your local dealer, they have Mopar touchup in an aerosol can that you can use to paint any flare you may have.

You'll need to remove the front header panel/grill etc to get that fender off. It's really not worth the effort unless your replacing the fender. With that said you can spray a replacement fender and have it look better than a dented one.
