aw4 controller
No, fortunately that one of the few things that does seem to work (I was just given this truck and am trying to sort out a myriad of problems) the unit under the dash on the pass. side, controls the shift points. she goes right into gear, fluids full and not cooked but wont shift till 4500-5000 rpm
Thanks

Throttle position Sensor. Gotta Brand new one. Was on for 2 weeks before wrecked.
I had to replace it for the same prob.
Take it to a parts store or shop closest and have them run it on a comp and Ill bet you thats what It is.
If so then Ill sell it to ya, and if not then Ill sell you whatever the part is that is needed.
Im parting my 90 https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f11/90...art-out-67138/ So any parts you may need just hit me up.
But like I said, When I had my buddy run the code at his shop it said it was the tps. Replaced it and drove it back from south fl to nw atl. 8)
Worked like a charm.

TPS
Went out the other night, got out the DVOM, and checked, sure enough the TPS is dead, good 5v ref. signal, good ground, no return voltage at any throttle position, picked up a new one this AM and we'll see if that fixed it, if it ever stops raining here
Thanks for the help guys

It lives
Thanks for the help, shifts great now. Now, anybody know anything about the ABS system on this thing, the pressure pump seems to run every time you step on the brakes, only for a couple of seconds though, maybe a bad accumulator?
