Any Chicagoans with diff gear experience want to make money?
I've had a new set of gears waiting to go in but I'm just not confident enough in myself to do it on my own.
I'm looking for someone who knows what they are doing and wants to help and I will pay
I'm going up to a 4.10 gear. I have ring and pinion set with bearings and shims and all. Everything except wheel bearings I think. I have most tools except for a press, though I've read up on the dry ice and torch method

ask on the IL guys checkin page. there are a bunch of guys from chicago. one just installed some gears on his xj, he might be able to help ya out. where in chicago are you? im on the north side up by gurnee mall

I was going to have these guys change out my gears when the time comes around. Possibly next summer.
