looking for drivers side (L) tail light for '97 xj..

i was at the salvage yard the other day picking up front clip and other parts, I asked the guy at the counter how much for tail light and he said $40

I think he was new so I may just call up there again but thought I'd try here first..

 

Did you ever find one? I have a 2000 that I'm tearing down now. One of the tail lights is broken but one is good. If you still need one let me know and I'll check if it is the left or right that is good.
