Default 235/75/15 full set of tires

Dudes,

So i'm looking for a full set (4 tires) of 235/75/15 used tires. As long as it has decent tread life, doesn't matter if it's a matched set or not. Preferably something A/T, but as long as it's a LT tire it works for me. My current set is basically bald, and i need a quick replacement. 3" lift is going on in about 6 -8 months or more, but i can't safely wait that much longer for a set of tires.

So let me know what you have. I'm about 45 minutes outside of Philadelphia, by the King of Prussia Mall. Thanks!

I know it may be a long shot, but does anyone have a set of four 235/75/15 tires they want to get rid of?

How much are you looking to pay?

I'm trying to find a good/decent priced set of 35's, then I can sell my new Goodyear Wrangler A/Ts (235x75x15). Help me find some 35's and I'll sell ya them! They were all brand new last year.

Well, honestly, i was trying to keep the cost down as low as possible. I only need tires, and specifically wanted used and was hoping to spend no more than $200. The problem i've been running into is that most people are trying to sell tires/wheels as a combo, and $200 is a bit too low for them; which i understand.

I'll keep my eye out for some 35's, and let you know if i find any!! Nonetheless, i'm definitely interested in the 235's whenever you're getting rid of them.

Random, but any good wheelin' spots out around York? I'll be moving out to the Carlisle area in about a year. There's got to be more spots than in the Philly burbs!

I'll happily sell you mine for 200 once I get my new wheels and tires. But, you'll be getting the wheels with them, LOL. I didn't pay for these tires, the PO did. There is a great trail south of York about 20 minutes, called Trails Road. There's a big thread on it on Jeepforum somewhere, I believe. I'll see if I can find the link later.

I'm looking for 35x12.50x15 if you happen to come across any. Just the tires are fine, but whichever works!

I bought a set of 235 ATs on jeep aluminum wheels for my Comanche. They were only $200. Deals are out there, you gotta look often. This guy had them on a Ranger so he didn't care about the jeep wheels, good for me

Rmoore - that's a good point. I almost grabbed a pair off craigslist, but when i finally saw the tires there was moss all over them from sitting & a serious case of dry rot.

just gotta keep searching for those mystical deals!

Watch craigslist like a hawk. That's what I've been doing. I could get some 50% tread 31's for 100 bucks right now...would be a little upgrade albeit not much.

Do you have a JY/used auto parts place near you? They usually sell used 235s for $10-20 each. Just enough to get you by until your next upgrade. Of course you'll have to mount and balance JY ones.

PocketsEmpty - i'm keeping an eye out on CL, thanks for the tip. Also, whenever you upgrade, i'm serious about those 235's. If i still dont have a set by then, i'll take those off your hands!

Rmoore - I checked a few used tires places around here, and their prices were almost as much as new ones. I didn't even thing of a JY. There's one right by work that i'll go check out.
