Default 2000 Intake manifold

i would like to buy a 2000 intake manifold. i have to replace the exhaust manifold soo why not go new intake too. so if you have one you're getting rid of let me know... or if you know where i could get one let me know.

is 65$ a good price for a manifold? i found one used i still gotta check it over and all to see condition but i didnt think 65 is too bad... idk though

$65 is a reasonable price for one. There isn't much that can go wrong with an intake manifold, just make sure it's not cracked and none of the threads are stripped out on it. Thexjfiles also sells a great bored throttle body if you don't already have one.

thexjfiles? where do you find that? and is the 2000 TB bigger than a 95 TB?

TheXjfiles posted earlier on this thread. Pm him for details on the throttle bodies. I'm 99% certain you need to reuse your 95 throttle body. They are both the same size but have a different map sensor setup. The bored throttle bodies are a bolt on part that will offer you smoother idle, better throttle response, and overall better performance.

Boy do i feel stupid. lol that might be a later project. definitely something to keep in mind when looking for upgrades.

I agree with all this. $65 is a fair price for a used one. The 99+ intakes are prone to getting a hairline crack in the front top corner for some reason. I think 3 of the last 6 I tried to remove had it. The crack is so thin and right where the one bolt mounts it so while it's still on it does'nt really effect anything and can't really be noticed. It's a pain in the you know what spending all the time removing one at the junkyard just to have the corner pieces fall off
