15" rims with more offset
I am looking for a good deal on some used 15" rims. I just upgraded my tires to 31x10.50x15 and now they are rubbing. I have the stock 1995 xj alum. rims(hardly any backspacing). Looking for cheap not nice or nice and cheap! I live in St. George, Utah. Let me now what you have! Thanks.

And when you do this, make sure you have enough fender to cover your wheel according to your local law, you don't want to get in trouble.

No, more backspacing means that the mounting surface of the rim will be further into the rim so it sticks the wheel and tires out further.

For example, Liberty wheels have about 6" of backspacing and they tuck way up under the truck.
Pretty sure less backspacing means more wheel sticking out.

Well if you talk about offset, it means distance from true center of the rim. Idk how to convert that to backspacing and front spacing, but I know a negative offset means that the surface is further out of the rim pushing the tire back in towards the center of the axel. So he's probably looking for some less of a negative offset rim.

imaginary center-line of the wheel when looking as it's rolling away from you.
back of the wheel to your LHS, front to your RHS...
negative offset = the mounting surface is to the left of the imaginary centerline
positive offset = the mounting surface is to the right of the imaginary centerline
the number represents how many millimeters away from the imaginary centerline
OP
the wrangler canyons rubbed on my passenger side tie rod end. not the tire, the wheel itself. so, just be careful...
