I have a OEM Dana 44 out of a 87 XJ. The jeep it came out of had a AW4 and a 242 case, so I would guess that its got 3.55 gears. I have never pulled the cover off to have a looksee. The carrier is welded. Pulled from a running driving Jeep last summer. Typical axle surface corrosion.

Yes 150 IS the correct price. People think these are worth the same as gold. Well if you paid more then 2 bills, IMO, you where ripped off!

I paid 150 for the WHOLE JEEP! My asking price covers the space in the shop that this thing has been taking up for a year and the cutting wheel to cut it out.

I've bought 2 of these in the last month and a half, one from an MJ which I ended up selling for $200 and buying one for an XJ already converted to brand new discs, 4.10's, fully rebuilt 2 years ago for $300 (was asking $500). Definitely crazy what some people want for these stock needing everything..
