I designed this swing out carrier.
and I messed up the measurements and its not gonna work for my bumper.
so now instead of grinding off and re fabricating this one to make it functional w/ my bumper.
i figured ill just sell this and start over.
The metal is 2x2x3/16 square tubing
with a 8" long 2" reciver welded and gusseted to the top.
the bottom piece is 43" long
the center post is 13" tall
and the miter cut pieces are 17"
for the hinge i used atozfabrication's MEGA DUTY spindle.

For the welding i went to my welding teacher at SRJC.
teaching welding for 15 years.
welding in the field for 40.
BEST WELDER I KNOW. PERIOD.
paid him 50$ to mig weld it all up. ( roughly 80" of welding )
What i paid
78$ - 2x2x3/16
20$ - trailer hitch receiver
87$ - MEGA duty spindle
50$ - Welding
235$ total
Still needed
10$ - 6-8" piece of 2x2x3/16 for the insert for the trailer hitch ( length depends on adjustability you want or need )
15-20$ - a 8in circle for the bolts for the tire. ( price depends on thickness )
and you can fabricate any sort of latch you want ( message me if you need ideas )
( the metal i can pick up for you at a local reliable hardware and steel at your cost if needed )
asking 250 you pay for shipping.
its 43 x 18 x 8 as far as packaging demensions
and ill get a weight on here tomorrow.
