I have a used Rugged Ridge heavy duty steering setup. It comes with a 1-ton TRE for the pitman arm connection, all other tre's are rugged ridge. I had it on my 2000 XJ for about a year. All of the tre's are in good shape.

I will say one thing about this setup... Because of how this setup works there is a sloppy spot between 11&1 on the steering wheel (almost like a dead spot) I will include 2 spacers that will take most of the slop/dead spot away. I will also include 2 new tre boots and cotter pins for installation.

*** Because this has a 1-ton tre (ES413R) at the pitman arm, you will need someone to properly taper your pitman arm to this size. If you can't get that done then you will need to buy a replacement tre (7/8" RH thread- Rugged Ridge sells one). Simply installing this to your current pitman arm will NOT work! *** What you see is what you get. I only take PayPal.

im interested. but is this the kit that only ruged ridge tre's fit on? or can all the tre's be replaced with chevy 1 tons?

 

You know I'm not to sure about that, although I did replace the rugged ridge upper tre with a 1 ton ford tre and it worked fine.
