One more point that should be differentiated - does the input bearing retainer have a sleeve that extends around the input shaft (external slave) or not (internal slave?)

The two are swappable fairly easily, but it would be useful for potential purchasers to know.

I believe it will fit. I think AX-15s came in XJ's 91 - 97. About AW4 you might want to dig around the threads and do some homework. I made the mistake of not doing that. But at least now I know.

AX15's came in XJ's from 88 to 98 so it will fit your cherokee as long as you have the Model 231 transfer case
