Rebuilt 4WD AX-15 Transmission
Rebuilt 4WD AX-15 tranismission. For Jeep Cherokee XJ, Wrangler TJ or YJ. O miles on it. 1 Year warrenty. I bought the wrong tranny. 
My loss is your gain. You will need Bell Housing and Transfer case. It was purchased form Collins Bros Jeep in Texas. I still have the recipt. $600 OBO!! Cheers!

One more point that should be differentiated - does the input bearing retainer have a sleeve that extends around the input shaft (external slave) or not (internal slave?)
The two are swappable fairly easily, but it would be useful for potential purchasers to know.

I believe it will fit. I think AX-15s came in XJ's 91 - 97. About AW4 you might want to dig around the threads and do some homework. I made the mistake of not doing that. But at least now I know.
