Do you know if it will work in an 01- that didn't have one already? I am not familiar enough to know if the XJ comes prewired?
Does yours have a computer for compass or fuel, or is it a harness for lights?

it will fit in Cherokees from 1997-2001 and I haven't ever checked but i think all Cherokees came pre-wired and it should go right up and the harness is for the compass, fuel, sunvisor lights, etc.
