Default Gears, 4.10's and 4.56's n' stuff.

I already made thread for these a while back but a bunch of stuff changed. I basically got these for free and I just want them gone and to make a couple bucks so make an offer. I will ship them for not much more money. Located in Albany NY.

Motive Gear, HP Dana 30, 4.10's $60 OBO

Basically new in the box, but I installed them by accident before I realized they were 4.10's, took them out before I ever drove on them. Hey at least you know they can get a good pattern.

Motive Gear, Chry 8.25, 4.56's $75 OBO

New in the box, never touched.

Mopar, LP D30, 4.10's $25 OBO

They are used but in really good shape. Came out of a 4cyl TJ. Keep in mind these are for a low pinion axle. Keep in mind these are for a low pinion axle and short pinion (requires a TJ yoke)

I am very interested in the 4:56's for the 8.25. I have a 2000 cherokee. How do i tell if its a high or low pinon? And you need to use a tj yoke with the gears?

All 8.25's take the same gears . There is no difference in them . If you want them , I suggest you buy them before someone else snags this great deal . Same yoke as well .

If you have a 2000 your front end is a low pinion, however the gears i'm selling are 4,10's and wont match up with the back ones im selling.

And yes you need a TJ yoke with the low pinion Dana 30 gearset I have, the TJ's used a different gear that was shorter and necessitates the use of the TJ yoke, otherwise they should inbstall into any low pinion housing without a hitch.

If you are interested in either set send me a PM.

Your 91 is High Pinion so it would take the new 4.10's I have.

And depends on what shipping for them ends up being, im sure we can make a deal.

From the factory it goes like this, always double check before you buy though.

XJ:

84-99 High Pinion

00-01 Low Pinion

And all ZJ's, WJ's and TJ's are low pinion as well.
YJ's are are high pinion.

You have to compare, the gears spiral the opposite direction on the two but I dont have a pic for you to show you.

I'm don't know a whole lot about diff gearing, so I have a question. The 4.1 LP gears for the D30, you say it needs a short pinion (TJ yolk) I have a 96 ZJ, is there any way to swap the yolk, or is that just pointless/worthless?
