ok off topic but i have to ask being it has been started
was your e30 imported (not meaning built in europe but sold there then imported)
the reason i ask is your both right
the e30 was started in 81 however it was not releast to the north american market untill 84
81-83 were only releast in europe

I've seen two or three of these in the junkyards... If I would have known their was a demand for them I would have picked them up and sold them at cost to someone else. I was going to buy one of them 'till I realised they were cut out for the spare tire (Which I dont have) and would have just looked dumb because of that. Good luck with the sale! Definitely a piece not seen often.
