was your e30 imported (not meaning built in europe but sold there then imported)

the reason i ask is your both right

the e30 was started in 81 however it was not releast to the north american market untill 84

81-83 were only releast in europe

 

your right when they were released in Germany....mine isnt a grey market car just euro bumpered ...i say mines and 83 because it was built in july of 83 and imported early its still an 84 on my reg, its like how you can go buy 2011 cars in 2010 you know what i mean? its still a 2010 to me haha its a very early 318i body with manual windows, no cruse, no ac

I've seen two or three of these in the junkyards... If I would have known their was a demand for them I would have picked them up and sold them at cost to someone else. I was going to buy one of them 'till I realised they were cut out for the spare tire (Which I dont have) and would have just looked dumb because of that. Good luck with the sale! Definitely a piece not seen often.

 

Had a spare in mine at first, but it works ouut just fine now that the spre is gone. I do plan to glue a liece of vinyl in place when I get the chance ... simple fix.
