Thinking about selling my cherokee and getting a comanche or VW TDI.
I live in Parrish, Fl near Bradenton. My email is tuxfan212@gmail
Anyway, I was thinking 2700 for it.
Specs:
1994 Jeep Cherokee SE
4.0L Inline 6 Cylinder. 178k miles, In great running condition.
AX-15 5 spd manual transmission. Shifts well. Way better than the BA-5/10 offered in older cherokees.
4x4 with NP231J transfer case. Works great.
Rear axle is a Chrysler 8.25 which is more robust than the Dana 35 offered in some cherokees
Working Air Conditioning
Recent cooling system including CSF three core all metal racing radiator, all hoses, water pump, and coolant temp senders. Late 2010 I believe.
New serpentine belt, Dec. 2011.
New Definity Dakota M/T 31x10.5x15. Summer 2011, maybe 8k miles on them.
New Master and Slave cylinders for clutch, Spring 2011.
Recent front brake job including, lines, calipers, pads and rotors, Spring 2011.
Surco Aluminum Safari Rack, with gutter mounts
Hella 500FF Driving lights
Front Tow hooks.
Rear trailer hitch
4.5 inches of lift
Aftermarket Cd player with ipod jack.
400 Watt Dual amplifier
8" Paper cone subwoofer (cheap) with wall mount box.
Full size 31" spare.
ZJ Grand Cherokee seats, Much more comfortable than XJ seats.
97+ center console (needs paint)
Wiring, mounts, and Antenna for CB radio.
New rear main, oil pan seal, timing chain, timing chain gasket, OFA seals July 2011.
etc.
Parts I have that are not installed:
Fuel Filter
Front adjustable Trac bar for up to 4.5 inches of lift ( I believe this is a rustys single shear?)
IRO Control arms for 4.5 inches of lift.
Tube bumper. Need mounting tabs fabbed up. Probably 100 dollars for anyone with a welder and metal to make and install. Nothing wrong with old one just this one is a beefier offroad one.
Misc parts.
The only bad I can think of is the valve cover gasket leaks a little bit. Not much but enough to be annoying. ALL other seals/hoses have been replaced within the last 2 years.
Runs good. Burns no oil. Engine temp doesn't go over 200 ever. No deathwobble. Good for offroad or daily driving. I honestly love this Jeep just ready for something a little different. In a couple years I would probably buy it back honestly.

Like I said, I am considering selling it. I really love it and hate to part with it. This is a feeler thread to see if there is any interest. I might consider trades also...
