Im thinking of maybe selling the xj if the price is right. Its a 1990 model with straight 6, 5 speed, 2 door. I just put a d44/60 out of a 78 f250 in it with tnt truss and brackets, serious steering with heims, completely rebuilt axles inside and out, has 6" of lift and the truss and new spring purches add 1.5"-2" still at short arms but the angles arent bad.has 36x12.50 tsl's around 75% left. Has kore DIY beadlocks jus installed about a week ago. Has a warn 9000 pound winch and winch bumper not sure what kind though. Im sure im forgetting something. I have over $4,000 in just the axles so no low ballers.

Yeah well it was just easier to put tons lol. And for $2500 il keep it lol i dont have to sell it im just seein how much i can get and if its enough then il let her go because all she does is sit in the yard when im workin out of state

 

yeah but the fact is that it is a 3/4 set up, not 1 ton...big difference is set up and price for axles...saying its on tons is very misleading

And ford put the same same d44/60 combo in some of the 78-79 f350's so technically yeah they are out of a 3/4 ton but the axles came in a 1 ton too so i dont see the big deal but obviously there is

 

Specs on axles...Gears /locker/shaft type ...And once again nice rig ...one thing I see however is it might not be street legal anymore in many areas w , so it's going to limit your perspective buyers down to offroad only ,which as you know ...that is a smaller crowd , and some of those folk almost want you to pay them to take off your hands...cheap S.O.B.'s

 

Are the axles under the rig for sale 1 ton or 3/4 ton axles?

It doesn't matter what they also came in, I'm curious about what you have.

 

78 f250 reverse cut high pinion 4 :10 gears welded rear end. Open front. I have chromo shafts and ctm ujoint for front passenger side but havent installed. Well if u put a grill and headlights back on it would be street legal HERE but theyre not strict hell i drive it everywhere like it is and they dont mess with me but i understand what your sayin thats why i didnt put a price because it may be worth more to me then anyone else. Its a great rig but im never home to enjoy it i jus keep dumpin money into it and never get to take it out.
