up for sale is my sister's cherokee, just a little background, the jeep was my dads for the last 4 or 5 years, he's always had cherokees. he gave the jeep to my sister 6 months ago when she got her license, but has not gone anywhere in 6 months except for me starting it up for awhile and driving it around the block every now and then. it doesn't look like my sister is going to be able to afford insurance (NJ doesn't like 17 year old girls) so its gotta go.
about the jeep:
-1998' 4 door, light blue color.
-181,000 on the drivetrain. (alot of highway miles my dad drives 2 and a half hours every weekend to see us)
-auto trans. shifts great
-np242 transfer case "all wheel drive" shifts like a champ
-8.25 rear end.
-stock everything expect for the stereo and some speakers.
-power everything (windows, doors, mirrors) all work
-interior is in great shape. no tears or major stains.
-exterior has some scratches and a good sized dent on the passenger quarter panel from my brother slowly backing into it with his tailgate down.
-before my dad gave it to my sister he put a few bucks into the jeep to make it reliable for her. i have receipts for new brakes on all 4 corners, and lots of new front end parts.
-100% rust free from the outside, and poking around under the jeep it definitely looks a lot better then my 96' down there.
i have pictures on my facebook i just have to figure out how to get them on here, or if anybody is interested they can PM me and i can get them to you somehow.
as far as price is concerned. i'm looking to get $1,750 but that price in negotiable. i think that is a very fair price and is lower then what KBB has for it in "fair" condition. although i'd really describe condition as good. my dad never sunk this jeep, actually only got it stuck once for that matter, and in the woods was used only to haul his kayak around, not to test the limits of what it can do.
jeep is located in manahawkin NJ 08050. feel free to shoot me a PM with any questions. i'd prefer if you only call me if your interested in coming to look at it, since i'm in and out of college classes all day. my number is 609 618 9542 and my name is Zach for those of you that don't know me already on here. thanks for looking, and again sorry there aren't any pics to look at but if you want i can give you links to FB albums that have them.

the only times this jeep was in the woods was for camping trips and exploring with the kayak.
the only pics i have were stolen from my dads FB page.
the last picture is to show the dent on the passenger side quarter panel. it is by far the biggest imperfection this jeep

it is a pretty good deal! its priced to sell so i really don't think i'll have to much of a problem, i'd just rather not have to put it on craigslist or the street corner to sell it...arizona and the hawkin' are pretty far away! do you spend much time down/up here? it really is a beautiful part of NJ

lol calm down there skippy, the jeep has been sitting for awhile besides being started up and moved in and out of the drive way, hasn't gone very far in 6 months...when it was parked my dad just got done driving it down here from north jersey which is like 150 miles. it made that trip absolutely no problems probably hundreds of times, i'm just saying ohio is a different story. i want to be as honest of a seller as i possibly can to you and anybody else so i'm just saying, it might not be the greatest idea to come try to drive it to ohio just like that.
edit: for an example the tires are all a LITTLE low and well definitely need small things just like that before you go on your way.
