Default Driveshaft yoke for use without SYE

This is a YJ yoke, that Rusty's sells as a long travel yoke for those with smaller lifts. The difference and improvement this has over an XJ yoke is that it's machined different allowing a greater operating angle of the ujoints without binding. Works great on flexy leafs and lower lift heights..

Rusty gets $60 for these. I'll do 45 shipped.

well worth it.

Is this new or used? I am thinking of going from 3" to 4-4.5" and want to make it as cheap as possible while doing it right for good ride and max wheeling ability. This sounds like a great option over a sye or transfer case drop since caged said he is using it on 8"s of lift. Let me know and I will paypal you now.

Yes, you replace the part that looks just like it on your current shaft.

Technically it's called the slip yoke.

Are there any problems or damage with it and will it fit right into my 231 transfer case no problem? I will take it if so. Do you want paypal and if so then let me know your paypal address.

Thanks,
John

so do you have more than one of these available? im having a issue going from 3inch of lift to 5. so is this the cheapest most effective way to fix it. cause that would be amazing compared to the other options i've been looking at.

No, sorry. I have just the one i found today cleaning up the garage. I have sold these before after i'v done a lift/sye on a Wrangler.

Now.. lets make something clear here. You may still need a bit of a transfercase lowering kit to help with angles, all this does is give the ujoint more room to operate without binding for those who wheel and havent done the SYE yet.

yes, you may need a t-case drop. i used to have a drop, but when i went with longarms, i couldn't do a drop in my design, so i went without it, and it has a very slight vibration at about 50mph, but i'm not usually going that fast, so it doesn't bother me.

i will be going with a 231/d300 dual case setup soon and will have a sye.
