Steering is still all there too.

pretty much what it would take to put just about any axle under one that wasn't in it from the factory. I was going to weld on coil buckets on the front and cut the rear leaf perches off and weld on new ones in the correct location. I originally bought these to put under my xj but have decided to wait and do something later. My plan was also to 4 link the rear so if you do that you just weld on coil buckets on the rear.

We have put these same exact axles under other xj's before. They work very well and are pretty much the same width as stock axles so you don't have the full width axles sticking way out from under your body.

If i had room for them i would just keep them until i get around to building them for mine but i really need the shop space.

Here is an XJ we put waggy 44's under and it worked out great.

you don't need 8" of lift for 37's. I'm at 6.5" with 36's and wish i could be sitting a little lower. Center of gravity needs to be LOW!!! Just cut some sheet metal!

Default Quick question

I'm planning the same swap into my 01xj. Just picked up the waggy 44s from a 90 FSJ a few weeks back. Which brackets did you go with, or did you fab your own? Any tips or tricks you could share offline with me would be excellent! Thx.

cutout flares still limit the amount of stuffing you can get if they are like bushwacker type flares. take them off, cut the sheet metal up to the pinch seam on the rear and trim the front until you think they will fit.

6.5" of lift and 36's look like...disregard the lines drawn on it. I am in the process of designing my cage.

I hadn't bought brackets for these yet. I decided to sell them before i got that far. on the buggy pictured above, we used a rock krawler 3 link and RE truss/coil buckets. then used TNT u bolt eliminators on the rear.
