Hey I have a complete 95 4.0 ho motor out of a 95 xj that had 163k miles with mobil1 every 3k. Looking for about 400$ is in upstate ny. it is available for any interests to come and look at or I can snap a few pics of it.

Like I said its all complete, all connections were cut off the vehicle side so all the connections are good. has starter and cables still on it. also have an extra valve cover and belts and fan that will come with it

 

thanks for pics. im in corning/elmira area. I do need an engine but 400 seems abit high for 160k on it. Can u tell me some more info on it? has it been rebulit or need to be rebuilt? what new parts on it you know of...

 

ran like a champ in the xj. has new belts but completely original stock motor. has been out of the jeep for about a year and just needs to be lubed and new liquids filled up. other than that it is ready to drop in and run. price is obo but no low balling

 

ok. how bout oil leaks? the "normal" highend valve ticking? anything like that? will it run if u put a bettery to it?

 

it might run that way idk. No ticking or anything but the valve gasket should be replaced thats the only leak i know of
