Did any of you all build something with your own hands for someones present this year? It seems like I do at least one thing every x-mas. This year I made one of my wifes cousins a subwoofer box. She is 16 and has a pink honda civic. The subs she had didnt match so I decided to make the box downfire the subs so you couldnt see them. I done a two tone on the box with black and pink. The letter H and the stars I cut out with a crappy jig saw. The H is for the first letter of her name. Whatcha's think?

Could you put up some pics of how the box is constructed and how it mounts? Also some pics of how much of the existing cubby you have to trim. I'd like to know how it's put together and how much work it is to install before I would buy one. Thanks

Okay here is some of the box. It mounts to the sheet metal inside the cubby panel. Here is how much you half to cut off the cubby also. There are two small spots inside the cubby where the sheet metal has to be bent over but it is easy.

Heres how it mounts.Just gotta make or find you some L brackets!

Cubby hole cutout!

Heres some of just the box.

You don't provide the brackets needed for mounting?

Ok, I'm shopping around right now to see what kind of deal I can get on a sub and amp. I gotta see how much the whole package will cost me before I decide on anything. I'll let you know if I can swing it.

With the standard box that you have pictured, how deep of a sub will fit in it? Do you have any idea on the volume of the box?
