Honestly not sure other than compass and lights. Most likely has MPG's, but not sure if you could use that function with an XJ. Main reason most people want them is for lights, storage (sunglasses), and a place for switches. Wiring for the lights is pretty straight forward (match wires), the compass I'm not sure, but I believe it's the same for 97+ XJ's. For 84-96 XJ's, I think the wiring for all but the lights is different.
