If you have access to an xj I would like the front frame rails laid out as a DXF file from the LCa's to the bumper mounts to include the steering box area. The joles will need to be laid out accurately too.

Basically I want to take the drawing to the machine shop and have them turn it inot a dxf file and cut it out. SO fromt the Lca mounts forward. The holes need to be pretty accurate. If you dont want to do it.. I understand... I will just cut up a spare xj, and bring the machine shop the whole frame section

i just went an pulled my front tire to take some measurments ans i feel that i can make it but i cant gurantee accuracy. so i think that you would be better off cuting down ur junker like you said. i dont want to mess up your build and cause and problem....wow this makes my autocad skills look great. lol sorry but i was looking at the unibody and it is very difficult to take accurate measurments. sorry for the inconvince.

No problem man.. there is a whole lot of stuff going on up there to make an acurate drawing, unless you have one torn down and close by to keep verifying
