Ax 15 swap into a tj??

 

i couldn't tell you for sure without researching it a little but it is out of a 95 XJ with a 4.0 and 231 transfer case. i know a lot TJs had that combination as well so unless there is something XJ specific in it with the spline count and other variables, it should work

 

external slave on the ax?

 

yes sir, meaning it bolts to the outside.

i probably should have added that the trans does not come with a slave though, i took it off and can't remember why and can't seem to find it anywhere now

i appreciate your interest but you are all the way in the great state of california and being that i'm on the other side of the continent i'd say it'll cost quite a bit to ship 4 heavy tires. like i told the dude from texas, you'd probably be able to get a comparable set of tires local to you for the price it would cost to ship these.

that being said i hopefully have somebody coming later on today for the tires.
