Location is Williamsport, PA. No shipping.
Reason for selling is my financial situation has taken a turn for the worse and I can no longer keep this project going. The $4900 asking price is just that, asking. I think it's worth every penny of that.
The BAD:
Cosmetically it needs some work. There are various dents and weathered paint as well as some rust in the rockers, all very repairable. The softball size dent in the passenger door is the worst part in my opinion. I have another door that will go with it. Front flares are off as I am yet unable to locate new mounting hardware. Driver's fender is also tweeked slightly. The interior is probably a 6-7 out of 10. It a Country so its loaded, PW, PDL, power driver's seat, leather, overhead consel, cruise, Automatic, etc.
The Good:
This is were the real money comes in. It has a fully rebuilt motor. Now this isn't like when you read a craigslist ad that says "rebuilt motor" when all they actually did was replace some gaskets and maybe paint some things. I actually had this block machined and all new internals installed. Only thing that's orginal inside the block is the crank and rods- they were found to be in excellent condition. Most of the head is orginal too, aside from the common wear parts that were replaced. Head was also machined. Block was bored 0.030 over and new Sealed Power piston and rings were installed. New Melling cam and cam bearings were installed. New Sealed Power rod and main bearings. New Melling oil pump and Timing set (gears and chain). And of course all new Fel-Pro gasket set.
Other additions include:
Stainless bolt kit from Totally Stainless
'99+ Intake manifold, powder coated
Banks exhaust manifold
703 Dodge Neon injectors
New cap/rotor/plugs/wires
New oil and air filters
Brown Dog motor mounts
New Harmonic Balancer
New Flex Plate
New water pump
New alternator
New radiator
New starter
Still running Brad Penn breakin oil and have a case of Brad Penn standard oil to go with
Probably some other various small parts that I'm forgetting right now.
New front rotor and pads, new rear shoes and hardware kit still in the box
New tail pipe and Magnaflow muffler
Motor runs strong with oil pressure around 13 at idle when hot and run for a while, about 35+ when crusing. I have only driven the Jeep a few miles and only just got the state inspection done yesterday, but everything seems to be good.
AC is not currently installed. I have the orginal parts but needed to get an o-ring kit before I reinstall it.
Other Parts I will include:
As mentioned before, I have another passenger door that needs only minor touch up and then color matched (The Jeep is black and this door is white)
Another set of stock springs and shocks
Also have coils and leafs and LCAs for a 3" lift (no shocks or track bar)
Dark grey interior door panels (I was going to use the arm rest pads to repair currnet door panels)
Tires are in excellent condition, Cooper Discovery ATR, 225/75/15 on snowflake style wheels.
Has aftermarket front bumber, not sure of the brand. New stock rear bumper.
This country edition also came with 3 skid plates (front, gas, and t-case) as well as the towing package.
There's currnetly no audio in the Jeep, but I may be able to come up with something.
I'll post pics is anyone is interested. I think the motor is in my album.

I'm afraid not. As I mentioned I'm in need of cash. I have some other things working in the background so if they work out I may keep this thing on the back burner for awhile. I'm pretty firm at the $3900 price point too. I've got a lot invested into it so far and it would be a great starting point for a nicely built rig.

How much did you pay to have the motor done...and where?
I am really wondering if I should just have my motor done in stead of trying to sell it. I thought asking a little more than half your amount I'd get some interest, but other than MatcoBill (cool guy, hope he joins the XJ family) I haven't had much follow through (lots of emails of course).
Good luck on the sale.

Okay I really love this but I'm in the process of taking out a lone on a jeep, only problem is that I live in Michigan and wouldn't be able to drive out there by the time I get the money. But I'm coming out to pa the 1st of July thru the 8th.
