Looks like a good design. One question is it turning in just a bolt or are there bearings in it?

i can build it for any size, its a little more than just a bolt but no bearing

When I get my next check i can bring a 37 by to make it easier to fab up, any way you can make mine so the tires in the middle of the jeep?

How do you keep it from swinging open? Can the arm be locked?

Look in the first photo between the D rings. That looks like the locking mechanism.

Chances are he uses the 12 stock bolt holes, if he does remember your hitch uses 8 so it will be more than strong enough

However a tow hitch is bolted with larger bolts to more of the frame than the bumper.

there are 8 bolts in the stock location... and yes i can make the tire on either side or the middle

this bumper is intended to hold a tire and is only bolts to the stock location, so it is not considered a viable tow point

I am working on braces to tie into the frame but there will be minor fab work on the buyers end
