My winch arrived today. I opened it up tonight and it looks good. I would suggest that RC figures a better way to package them. The box sleeve it came in was ripped to shreds and the box the winch was in came in pretty rough shape. UPS had to tape the end of the box shut to keep winch from blowing out the side.
Everything inside looked to be in good shape some of the Styrofoam was pretty crushed but I did not see any damage.
Just giving you guys some feedback on packaging.

I understand that. I am just giving them the info. If they want to use it go for it if not so be it.
I think a heavy cardboard box similar to one TV's come in would be a good choice instead of the sleeve.
But it did make it here in one piece and weighing 90 pounds that is an accomplishment.
I will make a decent review of the winch this weekend. I intend to install the winch on Saturday along with a larger battery.

I've got a regular old battery rated at 670CCA... would this be sufficient for winch use? It's a brand new battery, so it should still be pretty healthy.
