The converters are ID, they will slide over your exhaust tubing which is OD.

These need to be welded.

Ok, I am definently buying one of these as soon as the check I just deposited today cashes (tomorrow?). Anyway, I want to upgrade the exhaust of my XJ to 2.5" all the way through. Which cat do you suggest? Will these actually help in trying to get better MPG?
