Just a quick update, I just found out that I have to have the free shipping orders in to Rough Country by noon tomorrow, so if you want in on the deal I need to have your order by 11am CST tomorrow!

That's closer to what we ship in a month, and we probably don't even average one international customer a month.
Most of what we carry is drop-shipped direct from the mfg or one of the warehouse distributors that we deal with, which is nearly all UPS-based. For the parts that we ship out ourselves though, we almost always use USPS for international shipments because like you said, they're generally a lot less expensive and easier to deal with. Shoot, we use USPS for most of our domestic shipping as well because it's cheaper (on small, light stuff), easier, they provide boxes, and the mailman stops by everyday.
edit: Oh, and Priority Mail is almost always faster than UPS ground. The only real downside/customer complaint is the lack of tracking in the way that UPS/FedEx provide shipment tracking, but that's rarely been an issue with customers.

You guys really have to talk to your politicians. For some reason they are making it really stupid for your brothers in the north. You want all our oil and minerals but you won't let us across the border unless we give you our first born male children, a DNA sample, an FBI background check and a BJ. It took me almost an hour to get into Port Huron yesterday at 7 am. Years ago it took more time to pay the bridge toll than it did to clear customs. Oh well It's sunday. time to enjoy some fine Canadian beer and have a roast beef sandwich. LOL nice chatting with you.
BTW the Bride just tried to order a replacement for a broken bowl in our dish set. They would ship to Guam and the Philippeans but not to Ontario. And the stuff is originally from China.
Go figure!

I bought lift shackles straight from Rough Country last winter, and it wasn't even their shipping that was bad, it was the fee I had to pay when the shipping company came to my door..
