So I received my HID kit in the mail. Got the bulbs installed and see where the ballasts and relay harness hook up. What is the small connector on the bottom of the headlight itself for though? It doesn't connect anywhere. If it does what is it for? I think it is for the shutter and if so where is it going to get it's power from?

It is for the shutter to get the high beams to work. It will get it's power from the bi xenon relay harness.

As mentioned the harness doesn't have that connection. What a huge hassle. Man oh man. So looks like I need to buy another harness.

Yes that is what you need. It just has a different plug. Snip the extra plugs on each projector and the plugs on the harness. Use some male and female connectors to connect the black wires to black and red wires to the red ones. Problem solved.

The plug that says projector is the one you need to cut and wire to the projectors.

So wait a minute. I got myself pretty confused here. I think I see what you mean. I'll see how it goes.

No, if you don't have any extra connectors then they sent you the wrong harness that is not for bi xenon. The picture I got, is from the link you posted. Once you get everything plug in, there should be two extra plugs for the projectors. The plugs won't match but there should be 2 extra plugs.

Pm me your number so you can send pics of what you are working with. It seems like they might have sent you the wrong harness.

I think I got it. I cut the high beam connector off and added some spade connectors to it. Same for the headlights. Thanks for the help.
