i like the idea and the location, my only question is high high is it with the light bar? reason i dont have a roof rack with lights on it is for clearance issues in parking garages as i work at a mall. so if it ends up being lower then the stock cross bars on the roof rack it could be very intriguing.

I think you might wanna offer just the bar so people can mount there own lights.
I'm sure it's a great product but basically 1000 bucks for light.

The led light bar sits even with roof line at windshield so it remains low profile. This also helps with light deflection on hood and windshield and glair. Also price will include led lights, bracket with harness and switch. We are tryin to keep price low

Why would it be so difficult to anchor to the roof?

Build a version of this light bar that sits as close to the windshield as possible, ties into the factory roof rail mounting holes, and has a plain bar with light tabs on it and you'll sell them faster than you can make them. VERY few people can afford what you're making now simply because the light itself is so pricey. Keep it low profile, simple, and sturdy and you'll have a winner.

Just my .02

I can actually see this being a great product for the JeepSpeed people.
I know for those of us who can't throw down this much money for lights probably wouldn't even use them as much as the JeepSpeed guys.

It seems like an awesome product. I don't think people should bash him, but just give helpful criticism. And hey its just starting. Best of luck with sales! And get in with some of the JeepSpeed people

And for the roof we are also finishing off and inexpensive dom tube roof rack. Full length that will work with multiple light tabs. Have not set price as of yet and photos for that coming

Shipping is always the killer on roof racks.

I would seriously consider my suggestion for a low profile bare light bar for the Xj's though. A very large number of Xj owners want to keep things low profile for wheeling in the woods. Roof racks and roof light bars seriously hurt overhead clearance.

Well our set up puts the light bar even with roof line to top of light bar. Have hit a few trails where carnage took place and I have left a few items behind. Thats the design with ours low profile for clearance's also keep glair off of windshield and hood.

The only problem I see with it is the cost. 90% of us can't afford a setup with an led light bar like that.

I like the idea but seriously $850-$1100 for...a light bar. I would definitely make my own. I only paid $1200 for my whole Cherokee.

I'm saving up for one. I really like the look and low profile idea.
