I love my steering! Great customer service and product! A+. I had an issue with the standard clearance tie rod and Donovan was quick to help and I am back to full steering with a great product. I would say I believe 4" BS is the least amount recommended as there's not much between my wheels and the bolts but it clears so no worries.

Looks awesome! Looks like your TB and drag link angles are pretty dang close. Is the drag link supposed to go on top of the pitman arm like that?

I'm gonna need to get some steering in the future too. Just don't have the appropriate tools to ream out the knuckles and pitman arm.

The drag link can go either on top of or under the pitman...just which ever yields more ideal geometry.

All you need to drill the knuckles is a decent drill and a bit!

Oh, really? I thought it was something that needed to be done on a drill press. I guess since it's heim joints and not tie rod ends, it doesn't need to be as precise?

EDIT: My user CP says that UnidentifiedBomb posted, but when I come to the page, I'm not seeing anything after this post.

Yea the drag link can go either way. can't do that with TREs! It drives great with no sway bar. I just went to a local small hardware store and got the strongest 5/8" drill bit they had and took my time and it went through straight. It's not a huge difference from the stock TRE opening on the larger end. I didn't even need to take my pitman arm off.

Its not that it doesn't need to be precise..but a decent cordless drill will work just fine, having a good bit is most important.

Its a fairly easy installation

Heims don't require a tapered hole like TRE's. I would recommend running safety washers on a Heim joint when running them single shear though.

Awesome! Well, thats on the list of things in the future. I currently have a fairly new steering setup with the V8 ZJ tie rod upgrade, so I'll give that a good workout before I go with this, but it'll happen.

This steering my my ZJ tie rod look like a tooth pick. I upgraded due to drag link was toast.

Just received mine this morning. BEEFY and extremely well made.

I saw it somewhere else but can't find it again, what color paint are you guys using to finish these kits? I need to do a few touch ups.

Rustoleum Metallic "Brilliant Metal Finish". I think the color is charcoal, or it might be a litter shade than that. I'm pretty sure I picked up charcoal and it seemed a little darker, but I liked it.
