CavFab Jeep XJ/MJ/ZJ/TJ CrossOver Steering!

3 Attachment(s)
We have added our popular CrossOver steering setup to our website. The kit comes standard with 1.5" .25" wall DOM. We also use Ruff Stuff heims, not some elcheapo chinese garbage. We offer a standard, and a high clearance kit designed to clear aftermarket diff covers, sway bar mounts, etc.

The kit can be ran UTK or OTK. For OTK we recommend using an OTA Track Bar bracket and custom track bar (something we will be selling soon).

Let us know how we can help!

Im running a solid diff cover up front, think I need the high clearance?

Also as its hard to tell in the pics, does this come with lock nuts or stover nuts?

Yes i would recommend the high clearance kit. The standard may work..but I can't say for sure.

The kit uses lock nuts.

Is there a minimum backspacing required? I know I've talked to the owner of the Jeep before having 4" BS with his setup in the pictures you provided and had no issues.

ahh I want this setup but I need to buy other parts first. Nice steering parts for sure!

I got this kit coming and am running a Solid diff cover. I'll get a few photos of the clearances

You get the standard kit or the high clearance?

Jeepin'_Aint_EZ 08-17-2016 07:51 AM

Honestly it's probably a good idea just to get the high clearance version just so you have the option to change covers down the road. Just an idea

I'm not fan of heims for a daily driver, will you offer any kits with actual tie rods?

Just out of curiosity, why?

peligro113 08-17-2016 10:31 AM

I just don't trust heims, I've never used them but I don't trust them...especially since in many states a vehicle which has heims installed won't pass inspection. If the vehicle were an off-road only vehicle then I wouldn't have any issues using them. Long story short I don't trust them.

XJ88 (423XJ on Instagram) is running factory Eccos with 1.5" spacers so the same as 4" back spacing and he has no clearance issues
