I mounted mine up today with no problems. I started by loosely bolting both frame rail parts on then the trans skid loosely. Once everything fit up I tightened everything up. The fit is very nice.

Good to see you got it in there. Since there arent any instructions with the cross member. I assume you have to drill and tap for the front most bolt on the frame rail.

Has anyone else attempted to put their crossmember in? Reason I say attempted is because the holes don't line up on mine. The hole we have to tap and the front hole of the stock cross member line up, but the back hole is probably about an 1/8" off if I had to guess.

The side tie in brackets should come with a flag nut thats used for the forward bolt hole on the crossmember. If you look at cavfab's site it shows it included, i can only assume thats for the front hole of the crossmember.

We have to tap the 3rd hole in the bottom, then the flag nut and the sleeve and all are for the bolts going through the side of the tie in brackets. On their last 3 link they actually had directions and I read them before preordering this one and it said the size drill bits and tap and all you need and that you do need to drill and tap that front bottom hole.

Anyone who wants the instructions for the OG 3 link feel free to shoot me an email. I think I still have them. Install should have a lot of the same steps for the alpha with the exception of the center section of course. Jeepologyxj@gmail.com

I got my crossmember installed today (aside from the side tie-ins of course)
Everything lined up really well. Id recommend starting with the sides, bolt them up loosely, then put the center section in place, get all those bolts started, then tighten down the 8 bolts for the center section. Lastly tighten up the 4 side bolts into the frame (2 on each side).
I then marked and center punched the front most hole in order to drill and tap it. 1/2 - 13 tap and a 27/64" drill bit are required. Drilled a small (1/4") pilot hole, then stepped up to the 27/64" bit. Then tap the hole with your 1/2" tap.
You can drill and tap that hole with the crossmember in place. All said and done it took me maybe an hour? Im also running HD Offload unibody stiffeners and there was no issues.
If anyone has any questions regarding the install, feel free to shoot me a PM or post the question in here. It was pretty straight forward, ill help clarify if needed.
