Thumbs up BWE Rear Shock Tower Kits now available!

Our sheet metal shock tower kits are now available to the masses!

Designed with the DIY fabricator in mind, our sheet-metal shock towers will unleash the full potential of your XJ's rear suspension. Combined with a good set of leaf springs, extended shackles and a quality shock, our towers will allow for over 14" of travel! Unlike the typical tube type shock tower kits, ours will allow the interior to stay dry and clean by keeping the shock isolated outside where it belongs (when properly installed).

- The towers have been designed specifically around the XJ's inner fender wells, to provide the best possible fit and ease of installation. The parts are CNC cut and formed from 10ga and 3/16" cold rolled plate, providing more than enough strength for coil-overs without suffering a huge weight penalty.

- Included are 2 inspection plates that allow for easier shock installation, as well as allowing for recharging a shock while still on the rig (non-resi style).

We do not recommended this kit for the novice welder, as it requires substantial cutting and welding of the inner fender for proper installation.

Lower shock tabs and cross tube not included (required).

Kit includes (2 Towers):

- 10ga + 3/16" Tower Parts (un-welded)
- Shock bungs + Hardware
- Full color instructions

Is there a recommended lift height for these? Thanks!

Nope. 0-24" will work.

I would say a 12" travel shock would be the minimum however.

This is mocked up with a 14" bilstein....

With the shock towers completed, the winch mount is next on my list! I have a ton of work left to do on it, but I should hopefully have it ready soon!

Are you DIY XJ fabricators up for a challenge?

I get it for sure. I wouldn't be able to eat if it wasn't for my XJ customers

Nice work. It's not for me, but I am patiently waiting on the hidden winch mount.
