Bolt Locker!
These were a suggestion to me from Lucas Murphy and I think it was a great idea. We love to work with Racers because they are always thinking of how to make things more bombproof.

These are a cure to loosening bolts in just about any configuration. One end goes around the bolt head and the other hole is for a 1/4" bolt we provide. Drill and tap a hole in a handy spot and you will never have an all important bolt ruin your day!
This is the Pic Lucas sent me so he really should get all the credit!

These are sold in pairs because you want to put one on the bolt and 1 on the nut. They can also make it so you only need 1 tool to take the bolt off because these will hold the other side like a wrench! Available for the following bolts, 1/2", 9/16", 5/8", 3/4", and 1". They will work with 6 or 12 point bolts.

Not being directly attached to a 4' piece of 2" DOM with a Dana 60 tugging at the other end of it should releive some of that problem!
Seriously, it's not a stressed bolt, it doesn't have the loads that the main bolt will. It's static in its load, and should stay put under its own tension.
