Not everyone wants a big, long, do-it-all roof rack. Several people have asked me for a smaller, 1/2 size rack that can carry a spare tire, mount a few lights, and maybe mount a jack. The Half Rack fits that bill!

40" long, 50" wide. Gutter mounted w/ 2 mounts per side. Pictured below is the first build, it has 4 light tabs up front but no Hi-Lift mount. Hey, I build these to YOUR order, not mine! We can add a jack mount or add/subtract light tabs on yours.

As pictured below it's $299. Light tabs are $5 ea +/-. Hi-Lift mount adds $75.

This looks GREAT! Most smaller racks look cheap/weak. Your's is clearly still tough enough to handle a small amount of gear. I'm gonna have to set some money aside!

Thanks, and yes, it's a very stout rack for a little guy! Truthfully, it's not all that small, it probably has more capcity than your average catalog-purchased, mass-produced rack because it's wider. And since these are hand built to order, YOUR rack is literally YOUR rack, and one of a kind!

The best part, you don't need a huge pile of cash to put one on your Jeep! About the same price as a decent single 33" tire...

Currently, no plans for a ZJ, but only because I don't have one to build off of.

I do have a Sport Rack in the works, that will be similar to the Trail Rack (link in my sig below) but mounted to the factory luggage crossbars. I could easily make that type of rack compatible with the narrower ZJ roof or any other vehicle. Check back soon, I'm working on it!
