AC problems
Hi just need some help fixing my AC for the hot weather coming up. I recharged it and the compressor seems to be working well since it gets super cold. The only problem is when I go turn it on it doesn't blow any air. I can feel a bit of air coming thru when I'm going 70 on the freeway but no air when I come to a stop. Any suggestions on what may be the problem?

Do you mean no air or no cold air? If it is no air at all, on any setting, then I would venture to say it is a bad blower motor resistor.
There is also a blend door, at least there was on the older wranglers, that could malfunction and not allow heat or cold to mix together (i forget which way it worked). But that could be the issue of there is no cold air but still have air flow.

On the wrangler TJs it was behind the glove box. A few screws (possibly torx) and it slid out like a PC Card. IIRC about $40.
If not that then maybe the blower. But the resistor is a cheaper route to try first.

If it was the resistor pack, it would still work on high.
You may have the wiring burnout issue that has been talked about with Cherokees. Chrysler made the wires going to the blower motor too small of a gage and they burn out. I think mine has some sort of issue as well, if I ran it on high, it would turn off. Wait and bring it back to 3 and it works again. I just don't go to high anymore.
