Default RE 3.5" leaf springs vs IRO 3.5"(7 leaf) springs.

Okay, so I have an opportunity to trade my current 2 year old RE 3.5" leafs for a pair of brand new IRO 3.5" 7 leaf pack springs. I have been happy with my RE springs, they are pretty stiff, and I feel like they could flex a little better, and they are leaning a bit from torque. So does anyone have first hand experience with both of these springs, will the IRO leafs flex better? Ride better? They are military wrap springs.

I would jump on that! IRO uses poly bushings, which seem to transmit more of the road into chassis, compared to rubber.

I upgraded from Skyjacker soft-ride 3.5" leaf springs, to 3.5" BDS 7 leaf. The stiffer spring improved the offroad-ride and highway-feel of jeep. Felt more stable on highway (less body roll).

I'm confused, you seem like you are saying to do it, but saying that the IRO will transmit more vibrations to the body, and saying that you like the stiffer spring. RE springs are stiffer than IRO IIRC.

According to IronRock, they are 10% stiffer than stock. The poly bushings add firmness that is felt in handling more than feeling vibrations. They can be replaced with Clevite type bushings if you do not like the poly.

The BDS 7-leafs are likely more than 10%. My rig is set up for faster offroad terrain like the beach.
