I saw this. I'm thinking I'm going to start doing some PB blaster and try it out. Looks cheep, easy, safe, and rattle-free.

I would use a bolt and nut than the pin style setup. It takes about 17 seconds to remove the nut and bolt, and maybe 12 seconds to remove the pin and cotter pin. The nut/bolt method is tighter and doesn't clunk.

Same here. Noisy and clunky. It would wear out pretty fast and have some play in it. That was the first mod i did on my TJ and it came off a week later.

Sorry for double post but I'm using it iPod and it's not such a big fan of editing on here. Anyone have a homebrew method that is quiet? I'm on a budget.

That's what this method does, the pins are merely a safety to keep the nuts from unscrewing themselves (I was thinking about replacing that part of the design with a lock nut, maybe another wing nut and a spacer between them so I can lock them in place by hand and then be able to undo them with the same ease.

I personally hate dealing with traditional disco end links and wanted something quicker and easier so after some research I decided to make my own version of what I think skyjacker calls their Roc-Loc. I used a couple pillow bearings , dodge Dakota torsion bar, f350 4x4 locking hub . I have been extremely happy with the finished product I will try to post some pics tomorrow

Driving to fast will put any rig on its lid. Sways or not you need to drive using your head in a lifted rig. Not the lack of sways fault..
I was just being a smart *** anyways
