i wonder if they would fit on the front? the front shocks seem shorter, i think. seems more lifted in the rear, you think that might work ?
Welcome to forum and Jeep ownership!

Better to follow the four(now five) recommendations to flex the suspension and measure the Jeep, not the old shocks. You have no idea if they were correctly sized. Go easy on the C Tire guys, they just installed the shocks you brought in and to get shop work you pay shop rates. It's a good DIY job, but if your not ready or into it, no worries. Cars aren't really plug and play there is always trial and error. Front and rear shocks are different in how they attach to the vehicle, not interchangeable. Keep the one shock, hang it in the garage as a reminder not orders parts until you are sure what you need. I know I have a few bins of stuff like that.

As far as brands, nothing wrong with Pro Comp, Rancho, Skyjacker, Rustys etc. once you have a good measurement. Just be sure to buy fronts and rears, they are different.

.when did we begin to even reply to the social-challenged as-if they merit anybody's time ?

I try not to judge people on punctuation, diction or idiocy for that matter. I find with some people, especially young ones, that they haven't had enough contact with other regular humans. Once they spend some time interacting, the posts improve, punctuation gets better(sometimes) and they learn something about communication(even if it's accidental).

I concur and fully am on same page .I judge no one as it isn't my place to ... Still , even the most inexperienced post-er should approach ANY social interaction w/ some degree of civility ( especially when seeking the aid of others ) and respect or I steer clear of them ....45 years of practice and proper communication skill usage has made me wary of those that are 'entitled takers' versus serious , earnest folks which are humbly seeking help and for whom it is effortless to provide said where we can do so.
I respect everyone until they establish a reason to not .
