What did you do to your cherokee today?
Took it on a 700 mile round trip run to Wyoming.
Did really well getting 21.8 mpg going up and 19.9 mpg coming home. This made me smile.
Only had one issue. Had the drivers side seat belt clip break at a pit stop causing me to hold it closed until I found a parts store to borrow some tools to be able to switch the passenger side clip to the drivers side😙

Cant remember if i posted or not but put all new parking brake cables on from the pedal back.
Fellow CF member. If you dig through the thread under Accessories in the classifieds there's a promo code to save a couple bucks. www.onewaylight.com
Went to the store with my son and got home and smelled fuel when I got him out the back seat! Looked down and saw drips coming from around fuel filter.... Uh-oh! Replaced filter and the fuel line between tank and filter and filter to metal lone. Prob solved for ~$20... For now. :fingerscrossed:

This has been a busy weekend for me... Caution, crappy cell phone pics ahead...
I finished my conversion to an external slave on my AX5, replaced the clutch & flywheel, and bolted everything back up.
Before:
After:
New clutch:
Took me a bit to get the tranny back in but it finally went along with the driveshafts. Then I changed the trans and transfer case fluid. I also painted the crossmember with Rustolem truck bed liner just because I felt like it.
I installed a front hitch which I had previously painted with truck liner.
I had to order a new rear bumper as my old one was on its last leg with cancer. Nothing fancy unfortunately, just a new stock one, and that also got painted with truck liner. Thankfully the front bumper was fine, just a little surface rust which I took care of with a wire brush on my drill. Then I primed and painted that to match the rear. I took care of some surface rust on the front bumper brackets and painted those too.
Now I'm just waiting for everything to dry...

Interior LEDs installed. Best $25 mod ever. Pics don't do it justice.
