Default Tune up

So I just got a 97 xj. 3" rough country lift on 31" KO's. 216xxx on the 4.0. I plan on doing a tune up on it but just want to see what else I should do. My plans are oil/filter change, plugs and wires and brakes. Also going to do the valve cover gasket because it seems to be leaking a little and the power steering pump because it is also leaking. I'm sure there is more I can do but can't seem to think of anything. Suggestions would be awesome! Thanks guys

Check out the seals on your oil filter adapter, because you're past the point that the seals on it start leaking. You may even be confusing the valve cover gasket for that leak, because most leaks on the 4.0 route towards the back. Also, change all the fluids including both diffs, transmission, and the transfer case.

I had to replace my power steering pump @ 200k miles because of a bad leak. Hopefully you can just get away with swapping the lines or something easier/cheaper.

Don't forget new cap and rotor with brass terminals. Use NGK plugs. Clean your throttle body and IAC.

Okay sweet. Also the previous owner bought a transfer case drop kit. It's not installed yet. With it only lifted 3" is it necessary to put that on?

Are you having driveline vibrations? If not don't install the tcase drop. If you are, go ahead and throw it on there but be aware that it can cause other problems, so you might want to consider an sye, some people have luck with case drops some don't either way don't mess around with it unless you are having driveline vibrations

I'm having very slight vibrations. The motor mounts don't look too healthy so I'm going to go ahead and do those with everything else before I do the drop. I'll look into the driveshaft though
